Medical Assistant (Phlebotomy Focus) - MAUTVG

Job Title: Medical Assistant (Phlebotomy Focus) 
Location: Provo, UT  
Assignment Length: 8 Weeks 

Role Overview: 
We are looking for a capable and motivated Medical Assistant to perform both clinical and clerical duties. This position emphasizes phlebotomy, patient care, and EMR use while working in a collaborative health care environment. 

Duties Include: 

• Rooming patients and collecting vitals 

• Performing blood draws and administering immunizations 

• Supporting front office operations and appointment setting 

• Maintaining accurate electronic health records 

• Contributing to a team-based care model 

Candidate Requirements: 

• Minimum 1 year of MA experience post-externship 

• Certified Medical Assistant preferred 

• Experience in occupational health a plus 

• Must be proficient in venipuncture and EMR systems 

• Strong patient care focus and attention to detail 

Desired Skills: 

• Back-office support (vitals, vaccines, POC testing) 

• Front office admin (scheduling, phones) 

• EKG, CPR/BLS certified 

• Excellent communication and computer skills
