Shift Schedule:

  • Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Day Shift)

  • Full-Time | 40 Hours/Week

  • 30-Minute Unpaid Meal Break

Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing (DON) to lead a dedicated nursing team in providing exceptional patient care at a long-term care and rehabilitation facility in Sistersville, WV. This leadership role requires a dynamic, compassionate, and strategic healthcare professional ready to oversee daily nursing operations and ensure regulatory compliance.

Compensation & Incentives:

  • Estimated Weekly Pay: ~$2,437 (based on 40 hours/week)

  • Quick Start Bonus: $500 (if you start within 1 week of offer acceptance)

  • Completion Bonus: $1,500 (after 8 weeks of service with excellent attendance: no more than 2 call outs and no no-call/no-shows)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and supervision to the nursing staff

  • Ensure delivery of consistent, high-quality, and compassionate care

  • Manage day-to-day nursing operations and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies

  • Coordinate staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes

  • Maintain accurate documentation and timely incident reporting

  • Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and professional development

  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a nursing leadership role (Director of Nursing or similar)

  • Comprehensive understanding of nursing best practices, compliance standards, and state/federal regulations

  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

  • Proven ability to manage, mentor, and motivate clinical teams
