Job Title: Accessibility Analyst
Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid)

A federal agency-supporting project in Washington, DC is seeking a skilled Accessibility Analyst to evaluate and ensure digital content, platforms, and technologies meet Section 508 and WCAG accessibility standards. This position is ideal for an experienced accessibility professional who can assess, remediate, and guide on compliance while also collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve accessibility processes and policies.
Review content, digital assets, and systems for compliance with Section 508 and accessibility regulations.
Convert non-compliant electronic documents into accessible formats.
Provide guidance on document source files and deliver templates to improve accessibility.
Recommend improvements to remediation processes for more efficient conversion of files (e.g., PDFs, publications).
Analyze and test web applications, platforms, and software for accessibility compliance using manual and automated methods.
Review Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs) and apply accessibility testing protocols.
Contribute to the integration of accessibility into project planning and budgetary strategies.
Stay current on updates to accessibility laws and standards, including WCAG and Section 508.
Collaborate with developers, designers, and stakeholders to promote accessible solutions across digital products and services.
Apply knowledge of assistive technologies and accessibility-related tools and software in the market.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital accessibility analysis and compliance.
Strong understanding of Section 508, WCAG, and federal accessibility standards.
Hands-on experience with manual and automated accessibility testing tools.
Familiarity with the Trusted Tester program and related testing practices.
Experience remediating digital content and creating accessible templates and documents.
Proficiency in reviewing and analyzing ACRs (Accessibility Conformance Reports).
Demonstrated ability to guide teams on accessibility best practices and improvements.
Knowledge of assistive technologies, such as screen readers, magnifiers, and other AT tools.
