RN- Critical Care- Adult PACU - NA25-27417

Job Title: Registered Nurse – Critical Care (Adult PACU)
Location: Syracuse, NY Area
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Schedule:

• 6 12-hour shifts over 2 weeks
  • Shifts: 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM and 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Every third weekend
• No on-call

Job Overview:

Seeking a skilled Critical Care RN with PACU experience to provide high-quality pre- and post-operative care in a fast-paced recovery room setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients before and after anesthesia
• Perform thorough nursing assessments and interventions
• Manage medications, airway support, and vital signs
• Work closely with surgical, anesthesia, and care teams
• Document using EPIC EMR

Required Qualifications:

• Active NY State RN license
• 2+ years of recent RN experience in critical care
• At least 1.5 years of recent experience (within the past 2 years) in a hospital of similar size or trauma level
• BLS certification (current or willing to renew)

Preferred Experience:

• PACU nursing experience
• Experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center
• EPIC EMR proficiency
