Job Title: Cloud Architect 
Location: Remote 
Contract Duration: 6 Months 
Employment Type: Contract 

Position Overview: 

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to join our team on a 6-month remote contract. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure across major platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This position plays a critical role in aligning cloud strategies with business needs and ensuring technical excellence in cloud implementations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Architect, build, and maintain enterprise-level cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP. 
  • Collaborate with business leads, stakeholders, and product owners to translate solution requirements into scalable architecture. 
  • Design cloud-based data transformation, operational frameworks, application integration, and migration strategies. 
  • Define and enforce cloud standards, governance frameworks, and best practices across development and operations teams. 
  • Migrate internal data, applications, and business processes to the cloud. 
  • Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to track cloud infrastructure performance, availability, and reliability. 
  • Produce architectural documentation, templates, and operational guidelines to support deployment and maintenance teams. 
  • Act as a liaison between engineers and leadership, facilitating alignment between technical design and business strategy. 

Required Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Architect or similar role. 
  • Proven expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP). 
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, security, data architecture, and DevOps practices. 
  • Experience with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates. 
  • Familiarity with cloud-native services, microservices architecture, and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Ability to work independently in a remote team environment. 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect. 
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions). 
  • Exposure to enterprise migration projects and hybrid cloud environments.
