Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for a contract position at a reputable healthcare facility in Cobleskill, NY. The OT will provide essential rehabilitation services, helping patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate patients’ conditions and develop personalized treatment plans
Assist patients in improving their ability to perform daily activities
Recommend adaptive equipment and train patients in its use
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Requirements:

Active New York State Occupational Therapy license
Graduate from an accredited OT program
Previous clinical experience preferred
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
