Job Title: Diagnostic Technician I (Phlebotomy/Cardiac Testing)
Location: Hyannis, MA
Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $38 to $40 per hour

Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Diagnostic Technician I to provide excellent patient care through specimen collection and non-invasive cardiac testing, including EKGs and Holter monitor placements. The ideal candidate is a compassionate professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform venipuncture and collect clinical specimens
• Conduct EKGs, Holter monitoring, and stress testing
• Ensure accurate documentation and labeling of specimens
• Assist with specimen transport to the laboratory
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams
• Follow infection control protocols and use appropriate PPE
• Troubleshoot and resolve specimen collection issues
• Mentor new staff and clinical students
• Maintain inventory and ensure a clean, safe work environment
• Provide excellent service to patients and colleagues

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy Technician (PBT) certification eligible (ASCP)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
• Ability to work independently in high-pressure environments
• Preferred: Experience in an acute care hospital or similar setting
