Pay Rate: $58 – $61 per hour

Position Overview:
A reputable healthcare facility in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Echo Technologist to join its cardiology department. This contract role is ideal for a skilled sonographer with a strong background in adult and geriatric echocardiography who thrives in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality 2D, M-Mode, and Color Doppler echocardiographic exams
• Provide preliminary interpretations and conduct urgent/emergency studies as needed
• Follow established echo lab protocols in alignment with accreditation standards
• Assist with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) in an outpatient setting
• Accurately document procedures and maintain detailed patient records
• Ensure cleanliness, maintenance, and readiness of all ultrasound equipment and work areas
• Support physicians with imaging findings and manage digital reporting systems
• Participate in ongoing quality assurance activities and uphold ICAEL standards
• Deliver age-appropriate care with sensitivity to each patient’s physical and emotional needs
• Attend continuing education and maintain required certifications

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited program in Diagnostic Cardiac Sonography
• Registered or registry-eligible with ARDMS or CCI in Echocardiography
• Current CPR certification
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in echocardiography
• Strong clinical judgment and technical proficiency
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently or within a team
