Job Title: Physical Therapist

Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $62 to $65 per hour

Position Overview:

A reputable healthcare facility in Massachusetts is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist with strong inpatient experience to join their rehabilitation team. The therapist will be responsible for delivering quality patient care, creating and managing individualized treatment plans, and promoting recovery and improved functionality in adult and pediatric patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate patients and establish measurable treatment goals
• Develop and implement customized treatment programs
• Perform diagnostic tests to assess physical impairments and functional limitations
• Administer therapeutic exercises and modalities
• Reassess and adjust treatment plans based on progress
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment methods and at-home care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Guide and support PT Assistants, Aides, and students
• Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, and safety standards
• Keep accurate documentation of care and billing records

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Massachusetts
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent inpatient experience required
• Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• PT Clinical Specialist Certification (if applicable)
• Experience providing care in hospital or acute rehab settings
