Position Summary:

A public school district in Laurens, SC is seeking two qualified Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) to support students with communication needs for the upcoming academic year. Opportunities are available at both EB Morse Elementary and Laurens Elementary. Candidates may choose between in-person or hybrid schedules depending on availability.

Open Positions:

  1. EB Morse Elementary – In-Person or Hybrid

  2. Laurens Elementary – In-Person or Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language therapy services to students with IEPs and 504 plans

  • Conduct evaluations, re-evaluations, and progress monitoring

  • Develop and implement individualized speech and language intervention plans

  • Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team reviews, and data collection

  • Maintain appropriate documentation and service logs

  • Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support student goals

  • Address a variety of communication needs, including articulation, language, fluency, and social pragmatics

  • Ensure compliance with state and federal special education regulations

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

  • Current South Carolina SLP License

  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) – Preferred
    (CFY considered with appropriate supervision available)

  • Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred

  • Strong collaboration, communication, and documentation skills

Additional Information:

  • Caseloads will be determined by school needs and age group

  • Hybrid model may include some teletherapy combined with in-person services

  • Full school-year placement with potential for renewal
