Job Title: Radiologic Technologist – CT Tech

Position Overview:

A respected healthcare facility in Massachusetts is seeking a qualified CT Technologist for a contract position. This role involves performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both CT and general radiography, and committed to delivering exceptional imaging services in a collaborative medical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform CT and general radiographic imaging as ordered by providers
• Prepare and properly position patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
• Operate CT and radiographic equipment, optimizing settings for image clarity and diagnostic value
• Adhere strictly to radiation safety standards and ALARA (As Low as Reasonably Achievable) principles
• Review images for quality assurance and assist with patient documentation
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support accurate diagnoses and treatment plans

Requirements:

• ARRT Certification in Radiography and CT – Required
• Valid Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License – Required
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association) – Required
• Minimum 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience – Preferred
• Strong understanding of imaging protocols and radiation safety procedures
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient care skills
