Position Summary:

A reputable healthcare facility in Massachusetts is seeking an experienced Travel Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a contract position. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-centered care in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit
• Monitor, interpret, and respond to cardiac telemetry and EKG changes
• Perform ongoing patient assessments and contribute to care plan development
• Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and provide wound care
• Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Ensure timely and accurate documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
• Facilitate safe patient handoffs, transitions, and discharges

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts or Compact State
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Previous travel nursing experience – Required
• Strong skills in telemetry interpretation, critical thinking, and clinical communication
• Ability to function independently and as part of a collaborative team in a high-acuity setting
