Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Position Summary:

A well-established Radiology and Breast Imaging Center is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join their outpatient team in North Bergen, NJ. The ideal candidate will support patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures while ensuring high-quality, safe, and patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate patients prior to diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures

  • Assist radiologists during procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort

  • Implement and revise individualized nursing care plans based on comprehensive patient assessments

  • Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures; respond appropriately to any changes

  • Perform therapeutic interventions and support recovery in the post-procedure phase

  • Document all aspects of nursing care in compliance with facility policies and state regulations

  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding procedures, recovery, and aftercare

  • Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity and excellence in patient care

Required Licenses & Certifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – State of New Jersey

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) – Required

  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) – Required

  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) – Required

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior nursing experience in a Breast Imaging Center or Radiology setting

  • Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care facility

Key Skills:

  • Strong critical thinking and patient assessment abilities

  • Excellent communication and patient advocacy skills

  • Proficiency in EMR documentation

  • Knowledge of imaging workflows and radiologic procedures (preferred)
