A high-volume interventional radiology department is seeking a qualified IR Technologist to assist in a wide range of advanced image-guided procedures. This role will support inpatient, emergency, and procedural services within a large academic medical setting. Ideal candidates should be confident with complex imaging workflows and possess strong procedural skills in vascular and non-vascular interventions.
Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology
Background in hospital-based settings: Inpatient, OR, ER, and IR suite
Solid experience with standard X-ray procedures:
Extremities
Abdomen/GI
Spine/Pelvis
Head, Chest/Thorax
Upper and Lower Extremities
Proficiency in advanced IR/Special Procedures:
Angiograms & Angioplasty
Stents, Nephrograms, Drainages
Peripheral & Vascular Studies
Genitourinary and Neurological Imaging
Venous Access and Port Placements
BLS (Basic Life Support)
ARRT Certification
