Position Summary:
We are actively seeking a reliable and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) for a 13-week travel assignment within a cardiology outpatient clinic setting. The primary worksite will be in Rockwall, TX, with one day per week required at the Dallas location. This role offers a great opportunity to work in a collaborative and fast-paced cardiology practice environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical and administrative support to physicians and cardiology care teams
Assist with patient intake, vital signs, EKGs, medication administration, and documentation
Support cardiac-related procedures and patient education
Coordinate care with other departments and follow up on diagnostics or referrals
Travel weekly to the Dallas location to maintain care continuity and support operations
Requirements:
Active LVN license in the state of Texas (or compact)
Minimum 1 year of outpatient clinic experience (e.g., cardiology, urgent care, family/internal medicine) within the last 3 years
Candidates with only SNF, LTC, Rehab, Behavioral Health, Corrections, or Home Health experience will not be considered
Experience in cardiology or specialty care settings is highly preferred
Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills
Travel required once weekly to Dallas clinic
