Shift: Mon–Fri, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Total Hours: 40 hours/week
Role Summary:
Join a professional imaging team as a licensed MRI Technologist performing high-quality MRI procedures. You will operate independently with physician oversight to ensure precise imaging and efficient workflow. Familiarity with Breast and Cardiac MRI is essential.
Daily Responsibilities:
Execute MRI scans with precision, adhering to departmental protocols.
Manage exam schedules efficiently and support proper patient preparation.
Process imaging studies within a timely post-exam window.
Coordinate imaging protocols with radiology leadership.
Maintain accurate patient records and downtime logs.
Safely administer contrast agents as required.
Train junior staff and cover shifts during absences.
Provide courteous service to patients, families, and clinical partners.
Identify and report technical equipment issues for maintenance.
Support exam charging processes and inventory controls.
Promote safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance in the imaging suite.
Qualifications:
High school diploma and Radiologic Technology program graduate.
ARRT (MRI) certification and NJ State MRI license.
1 year of MRI experience minimum; 5+ years preferred.
Proficiency in advanced MRI scanning (Cardiac & Breast essential).
Organized, detail-oriented, and excellent with patient interaction.
Other Info:
No weekends or holiday shifts required. Some floating to related units expected.
