Title - MRI Technologist – Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

Location: Across NJ
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM | No Weekends/Holidays/On-Call
Hours: 40 hours per week

Overview:
We are hiring skilled MRI Technologists to join our diagnostic imaging team. This role involves conducting MRI procedures with precision and professionalism under physician supervision. The ideal candidate will have experience in both Cardiac and Breast MRI and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans according to clinical protocols and safety standards.

  • Interpret and follow imaging orders with high accuracy.

  • Prepare patients and equipment for scheduled procedures.

  • Ensure timely image processing (within 30 minutes of exam completion).

  • Maintain documentation and equipment logs diligently.

  • Coordinate with radiologists to improve imaging quality and protocols.

  • Administer contrast materials as needed, following safety protocols.

  • Support departmental cleanliness and infection control.

  • Assist with staff training, shift coverage, and cross-training efforts.

  • Provide compassionate, responsive care to all patients.

  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs.

  • Transport patients safely to/from MRI suites.

  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and report accordingly.

  • Complete exam charge entries accurately and promptly.

  • Adhere to emergency response policies and patient confidentiality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

  • Licenses/Certifications: NJ MRI License and ARRT (MRI) required.

  • Experience: At least 1 year as a licensed MRI Tech; 5+ years preferred. Cardiac and Breast MRI proficiency is required.

  • Skills: Excellent communication, multitasking, and patient service.
