Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Cincinnati, OH
The Radiologic Technologist performs routine radiographic, fluoroscopic, and portable imaging procedures in various areas including the diagnostic department, nursing units, outpatient settings, and the surgical department. This role requires strong technical skills, versatility, and a commitment to patient safety and quality imaging standards.
Perform radiographic exams as ordered by physicians
Operate imaging equipment in various hospital departments, including portable imaging when required
Ensure safety protocols are followed to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff
Understand and support front desk and computer system operations
Report equipment issues to the appropriate clinical engineering contacts and inform managers as needed
Schedule exams across the imaging department and coordinate patient transport using centralized systems
Retrieve, update, reprint, or cancel exams using hospital computer systems as necessary
Communicate effectively and professionally with other departments and on-call imaging staff
Assist in training and supporting Radiologic Technologist students
Perform equipment quality assurance duties and support regulatory compliance efforts (ODH, Joint Commission)
Help manage supply ordering, staff scheduling, and preparation for audits
Access and manage patient imaging records as needed for operational purposes
Knowledge of medical terminology and sterile techniques
Proficient in patient positioning and operation of radiographic equipment (including x-ray machines and printers)
Graduate of an ARRT-accredited Radiologic Technology program
ARRT Certification
BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
