Job Title: Senior Cloud Database Engineer

Location: Chelsea, MA (Hybrid)
Duration: 12 Months

Job Summary:
Looking for a hands-on cloud engineer with expertise in AWS and enterprise-level database migrations. This role will focus on migrating high-volume databases and optimizing the RDS infrastructure post-migration.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute migrations from legacy systems to AWS RDS.
Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting on cloud-hosted databases.
Support schema and data conversions to PostgreSQL.
Automate migration-related tasks using scripting.
Monitor and enhance database performance and uptime.

Qualifications:

Background in database engineering with AWS RDS expertise.
Skilled in PostgreSQL, Oracle, and SQL Server.
Strong scripting ability (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
Experience in large-scale migrations using AWS services.
Database optimization experience required.
