Pay Rate: $16.80/hour
An entry-level Groundskeeping opportunity is available for individuals interested in maintaining professional landscapes and facility grounds. The role involves performing routine landscaping and grounds care tasks across multiple locations, with responsibilities including mowing, trimming, edging, and weed removal.
Operate basic lawn and garden equipment (mowers, trimmers, weed eaters, etc.)
Maintain flower beds, curbs, and shrubs to ensure a manicured appearance
Identify and remove weeds from landscaped areas
Perform general landscape upkeep and other assigned duties
Work outdoors in all weather conditions, including hot/cold environments
May be required to work early mornings or weekends depending on seasonal needs (e.g., winter weather conditions)
Days: Monday – Friday
Hours: 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Weekend Work: Periodically required
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
Experience: Basic landscaping or groundskeeping experience preferred
Communication: Basic communication skills necessary
Special Skills:
Ability to operate lawn and garden tools
Awareness of landscaping techniques and safety practices
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, climb, kneel, and lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly
This is a non-supervisory role and reports directly to the Facilities Manager
