Seeking a Registered Ultrasound Technologist with RVT certification to perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures. The role involves working in a 2-room ultrasound unit supporting a wide range of patients and imaging needs. A collaborative, safety-focused environment where you will utilize Philips equipment and Epic EMR.
Conduct high-quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging in:
General: Abdomen, breast, spleen, pancreas, small parts, pediatric abdomen/pelvis
OB/GYN: All trimesters, AFI, fetal anatomy, placenta previa
Vascular: Aorta, carotid, venous duplex, lower extremities, color flow
Interventional: Paracentesis, thoracentesis, US-guided biopsies/FNA
Neonatal: Abdomen, pelvis, spine, renal, bladder
Small Parts: Testes/scrotum, thyroid, breast/cyst aspiration
Utilize Philips ultrasound machines and PACS for imaging and archiving
Work with providers during procedures for planning and guidance
Adhere to infection control and isolation procedures
Accurately document in Epic EMR system
Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift (5x8s)
Call: Every 3rd weekend (Sat 7 AM – Mon 7 AM), 90-minute response time
Call is optional, based on candidate preference
Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts per assignment without penalty (on-call excluded)
Certifications Required:
ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer)
RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist)
BLS (Basic Life Support)
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience
First-time travelers welcome
Preferred experience in adult, ER, ICU, pediatrics, high-risk OB, and portable imaging
Epic EMR experience preferred
