License Requirement: Active New York LPN license required at time of submission
Seeking a qualified Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work in a Medical-Surgical Unit at a tertiary care facility. Candidates must be comfortable independently managing a patient assignment with RN oversight and must bring recent hospital experience.
Provide direct patient care including assessments, medication administration, and documentation
Collaborate with RNs and interdisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care
Maintain accurate patient records using Epic EMR
Assist with admission, discharge, and post-operative care routines
Monitor vital signs, perform wound care, and respond to patient needs
Support infection control and safety protocols in a hospital environment
Active LPN license in New York (must be in hand at submission)
Recent hospital experience within the past 2 years (required)
Ability to independently manage a patient load with RN support
Strong interpersonal and clinical judgment skills
Experience with electronic charting (Epic preferred)
