Nuclear Medicine Technologist - NMT 25-25288

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks (Extendable)
Location: Syracuse, NY
Shift: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Required Certifications:

• ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) or CNMT Certification (Board Eligible Candidates Considered)

• BLS/CPR Certification (Must be current before start)

• Active New York State License/Registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures in accordance with physician orders and safety standards

• Operate imaging equipment, including:

  • Siemens EVOSPECT camera

  • Philips Forte camera

• Work within the hot lab using NMIS; manage radiopharmaceuticals per regulatory compliance

• Record and manage patient data through EPIC system

• Access and archive imaging studies using Synapse PACS

• Adhere strictly to radiation safety protocols and procedures

• Maintain detailed and accurate records of procedures, radiopharmaceutical dosages, and equipment utilization

• Support and guide other technologists as needed, including possible mentorship responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong technical knowledge of nuclear medicine practices and imaging systems

• Proficient in patient care documentation and communication

• Experience with hospital systems and workflow tools (EPIC, PACS, NMIS)

• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively within a team
