Job Title: RN – Labor & Delivery/Postpartum (Night Shift)
Location: Ithaca, NY
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 3 Shifts/Week | 12-Hour Shifts
Travel RN: $2,538 weekly
Local RN: $2,196 weekly
Seeking a compassionate and experienced Labor & Delivery/Postpartum RN for a night shift assignment. The nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and the postpartum period, ensuring both mother and baby receive high-quality, patient-focused care.
Deliver patient-centered nursing care before, during, and after childbirth
Monitor maternal and fetal health; respond swiftly to complications
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Document care accurately using Epic EMR
Provide education and emotional support to new mothers and families
Promote a safe, nurturing, and professional care environment
Active RN license (valid in NY or compact state, as applicable)
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2+ years of recent experience in both Labor & Delivery and Postpartum settings
Proficiency with Epic EMR
