We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a skilled rehabilitation team in a long-term care setting in Lancaster, PA. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide therapy services that support mobility, independence, and quality of life for residents.
Provide physical therapy interventions as prescribed by the supervising Physical Therapist
Assist residents with therapeutic exercises to improve strength, balance, and coordination
Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and execute personalized care plans
Educate residents and families on exercise programs and safe mobility techniques
Foster a supportive, engaging, and safe environment for all therapy activities
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and facility standards
Associate’s Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Active PTA license in the state of Pennsylvania (or eligibility to obtain)
Current CPR certification (or ability to obtain upon hire)
Previous experience in a long-term care or geriatric setting preferred
Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
