Job Title: Anesthesia Technologist
Location: Syracuse, NY
Shift: Primarily 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM, with occasional rotation to 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Schedule Details: No weekends, holidays, or on-call responsibilities
Pay Rate: $43 – $45 per hour

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Anesthesia Technologist to join a high-performing anesthesiology team in Syracuse, NY. This role is critical in supporting anesthesia providers by maintaining and preparing anesthesia equipment and supplies, ensuring compliance with safety and sterility protocols, and assisting during invasive procedures in a Level 1 trauma center setting.
Set up and maintain anesthesia rooms, including preparation for invasive procedures
Perform room turnovers and sterilization of anesthesia equipment
Troubleshoot and maintain a variety of anesthesia machine models
Assist with procedures such as arterial lines, central venous catheter (CVC) insertions, and thermodilution catheter placements
Adhere strictly to infection control policies and aseptic techniques
Stock and organize anesthesia carts and work areas as needed
Support anesthesia services across multiple procedural and surgical areas within the facility
Graduate of an accredited Anesthesia Technology program
ASATT certification (Anesthesia Technologist) required
CPR/BLS certification (must be obtained prior to start)
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience preferred
Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and equipment sterilization
Prior experience in a Level 1 trauma center highly preferred
Must be able to pass all required pre-employment health screenings
