Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Hours/Week: 37.5
Shifts/Week: 3 (11.5-hour shifts)
Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Pediatric ICU Registered Nurse to join a leading healthcare team in New York City. This role is ideal for a nurse passionate about pediatric critical care, with the skillset and dedication to provide exceptional care in a high-acuity unit.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care to critically ill pediatric patients
Perform and manage IV insertion and phlebotomy
Administer conscious sedation when necessary
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care
Monitor patient responses and ensure accurate documentation
Provide emotional support and education to patients' families
Required Experience:
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Pediatric ICU or Maternal & Child Health unit
Skilled in IV insertion, phlebotomy, and conscious sedation techniques
Required Certifications & Licenses:
Active New York State RN License (primary source verified)
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS)
AHA Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
