Shift: Rotating Days (7 AM – 8 PM); On-Call, Occasional Weekends & Holidays Required

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Travel Registered Nurse (RN) with a background in Endoscopy to join a dynamic healthcare team in Massachusetts. This is a 13-week contract position offering a full-time schedule, diverse shift options, and opportunities to make an immediate impact in procedural care settings.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation

  • Administer medications and monitor patient responses during and post-procedural care

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care

  • Document patient assessments, care plans, and clinical progress accurately and in a timely manner

  • Provide support in procedural sedation and recovery

  • Serve as a charge/resource nurse when needed

  • Participate in quality improvement activities and adhere to all hospital policies, especially around safety and infection control

  • Engage in ongoing professional development and maintain compliance with clinical standards

  • On-call availability required for off-shift hours, weekends, and holidays

Requirements:

  • Active RN license in the state of Massachusetts

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

  • Minimum 2 years of recent Endoscopy RN experience required

  • BLS and ACLS (or ability to obtain ACLS within 6 months of start)

  • Strong IV start skills

  • Experience with procedural sedation and conscious sedation protocols

  • Ability to wear lead apron and meet physical demands of procedural care

  • Familiarity with electronic documentation and hospital informatics systems

  • BSN preferred
