Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized Maternal and Pediatric Home Health Care services in the Bronx, NY. This field-based role focuses on delivering high-quality, individualized care to patients ranging from newborns to adolescents (up to 18 years of age). Some visits may include postpartum care for mothers, which are counted as separate patient encounters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide in-home clinical nursing care to pediatric patients and postpartum mothers.

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and implement appropriate nursing interventions.

  • Educate patients and families on postnatal care, child development, and wellness.

  • Accurately document patient interactions and clinical findings in electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

  • Coordinate care and communicate effectively with families, healthcare providers, and interdisciplinary teams.

  • Follow patient safety protocols and infection control standards during travel and home visits.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years acute care experience in one or more of the following areas:

    • Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg)

    • Maternal and Child Care

    • Critical Care

    • Pediatrics

  • Current home health experience caring for maternal and pediatric patients.

  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in home environments.

Education & Certifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State (Primary Source Verified).

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – Required.

  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Certification – Required.
