Job Title: Registered Nurse – Hospital Case Management (Travel)

Location: Hyannis, MA
Contract Term: 13 Weeks
Shift: Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Weekly Rate: $2,762–$2,890

Summary:

Experienced RN Case Manager needed for a short-term travel opportunity in a hospital setting. Focus is on case review, patient advocacy, and safe discharge planning within regulatory and payer guidelines.

Key Duties:

• Review patient admissions and complete InterQual® assessments
• Coordinate services based on discharge readiness and risk factors
• Work with providers to align care plans with reimbursement policies
• Serve as patient advocate during care transitions
• Help mitigate avoidable days and prevent payer denials
• Manage post-discharge planning with internal and external stakeholders
• Respond to payer audits and documentation requests
• Maintain detailed records and participate in quality improvement

Preferred Background:

• Active Massachusetts RN license
• At least 3 years in a case management or hospital RN role
• Proficient in InterQual®, EMRs, and care coordination tools
• Strong clinical judgment, independence, and collaboration skills
• Certification in case management (CCM, CPUM) highly desirable
