Job Title: Radiologic Technologist

Position Details:

• Location : Hackensack, NJ 07601
• Schedule:

• 40 hours per week
• 8-hour shifts
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• 13-week contract

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic procedures independently, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. This role involves both technical and administrative responsibilities, with a focus on precision, professionalism, and compassionate care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic x-ray exams by positioning patients and selecting appropriate techniques
• Operate radiologic equipment and adjust exposure parameters based on patient and procedure
• Limit radiation exposure using collimation techniques
• Conduct portable imaging in ER, OR, and patient rooms as needed
• Label and process films/images accurately, ensuring quality and traceability
• Maintain clean, organized imaging spaces and equipment
• Prepare and administer contrast media as directed by physicians
• Schedule appointments, guide patients, and manage imaging records
• Assist patients with mobility and positioning for exams
• Observe all safety and infection control protocols
• Support patient-centered care based on age, culture, and physical needs

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an AMA-accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Fulfillment of clinical and ARRT certification requirements

Licensure & Certifications:

• Valid New Jersey State Radiologic Technologist License
• Eligibility for National Registry (ARRT) and ability to pass certification exam
