Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Day Shift / Evening Shift
Location: Wayne, NJ
Pay Rate: $60 - $65/hour
Employment Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week guaranteed)
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
We are seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join a respected long-term care and rehabilitation facility in Wayne, NJ. The ideal candidates will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to residents in a skilled nursing environment. Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individual care plans and medical directives
Monitor and document residents’ health conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and reactions to medications or treatments
Administer prescribed medications and perform clinical procedures such as wound care and catheter management
Lead and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other support staff in delivering resident care
Coordinate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physicians, therapists, and social workers
Respond to medical emergencies and address resident concerns promptly and appropriately
Educate residents and families on health conditions, medications, post-acute care, and wellness practices
Maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
Adhere to infection control policies and promote a safe, hygienic, and respectful care environment
Contribute to ongoing quality improvement initiatives and participate in staff development activities
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Jersey
CPR/BLS certification required (ACLS or WCC preferred)
Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation settings
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
Ability to lead and collaborate within a multidisciplinary care team
Proficient with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Dedicated to providing dignified, empathetic, and high-quality patient care
