Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technician

Location:  Atlanta, GA

Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM | 13-week contract

Additional Support: NM/PET Tech coverage from 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM to increase appointment availability and reduce backlog

Rate: $2950 weekly

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technician to join the outpatient imaging team at Northside Decatur Imaging. This role involves performing CT and PET/CT exams, ensuring quality imaging for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes, and supporting patient care in a high-volume imaging department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform advanced nuclear medicine imaging procedures using specialized techniques
• Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout exams
• Work collaboratively to manage high appointment volumes and reduce backlog
• Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and imaging workflow
• Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and regulatory protocols

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology
• Active NMTCB certification
• AHA BLS certification
• Experience working in an outpatient imaging department
