We are seeking a compassionate and licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a skilled rehabilitation team in Wayne, NJ. The ideal candidate will support patients in achieving their therapy goals by implementing treatment plans under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Administer physical therapy treatments as prescribed by the supervising Physical Therapist
Support patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, coordination activities, and muscle re-education
Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment
Maintain accurate and timely treatment records and clinical documentation
Ensure proper and safe use of therapeutic equipment and modalities
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
Promote patient engagement and motivation in meeting rehab goals
Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the state of New Jersey – required
Solid understanding of physical therapy principles, techniques, and equipment
Strong observation, clinical decision-making, and documentation skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Compassionate, patient-focused, and team-oriented approach to care
