We are seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) with extensive multi-specialty operating room experience to support a high-acuity hospital environment on night shifts. Ideal candidates will bring strong trauma experience and the flexibility to assist across service lines in a fast-paced OR.
Assist surgeons and nursing staff during a wide variety of procedures in a Level 1 trauma center
Prepare OR equipment, surgical instruments, and sterile supplies for scheduled and emergency procedures
Maintain aseptic technique and surgical field integrity at all times
Support diverse surgical services, including Vascular, Thoracic, Neuro, Ortho, ENT, and Urology
Respond quickly and efficiently to surgical team needs during procedures
Participate in cleaning and turnover of OR rooms and ensure equipment is properly sterilized and maintained
May be required to float to other qualified units or facilities within the system based on staffing needs
NBSTSA certification – Required
Minimum 2 years of OR experience in a Level 1 trauma center – Required
Strong experience in Vascular, Thoracic, Neuro, Ortho, ENT, and Urology specialties – Required
No first-time travelers – Must have prior travel assignment experience
Excellent communication, adaptability, and teamwork in high-pressure settings
Shift: 3x12-Hour Nights (6:50 PM – 7:20 AM)
Unit does not guarantee block schedules, but will accommodate shift preferences when feasible
Floating Policy: Must be willing to float to qualified units or campuses based on hospital needs
