Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
We are seeking a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist to join a high-performing cardiovascular surgical team. The ideal candidate will bring at least 1 year of experience in the CVOR setting, strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
Prepare the cardiovascular OR suite and surgical instruments before procedures.
Assist surgeons during cardiac and vascular surgeries, maintaining sterile fields and passing instruments.
Ensure equipment readiness and proper instrument sterilization.
Participate in call rotation and provide support for emergency procedures.
Communicate effectively with surgical teams, nurses, and anesthesiologists to maintain workflow.
Maintain detailed and accurate surgical documentation.
Must hold Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential through NBSTSA – Required.
AHA BLS certification – Required.
Minimum of 1 year of recent CVOR experience.
Willingness to float within qualified units across the facility when needed.
Excellent attention to detail, communication, and teamwork.
4x10-Hour Shifts (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Call Requirement: Minimum 2 weekday calls per week and 1–2 weekends every 6 weeks (subject to operational needs).
Overtime as needed
Guaranteed hours: Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
