Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU)

Job Description:
An experienced Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse is needed for a 13-week travel assignment at a reputable acute care facility. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent IMCU or PCU experience and prior travel experience clearly listed on the resume.
Shift Details:
Shift Time: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Schedule: 3 x 12-hour shifts/week
Floating: Required
Unit Details:
Common Diagnoses:
Neurological (stroke, seizures, head trauma)
Cardiac (MI, CV stepdown)
Respiratory (COPD, BiPAP, Sepsis, VapoTherm, Neptune)
Endocrine (DKA)
Trauma, post-operative
Specialty Equipment Used:
Temporary pacemakers
Chest tubes
Arterial lines (A-lines)
BiPAP
Chronic ventilators (RT support available)
EMR System:
EPIC (experience required)
Required Qualifications:
Active RN license in New York
BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA preferred)
Minimum 2 years recent experience in IMCU/PCU
At least 2 references (one must be a charge RN or manager from recent IMCU assignment)
Must have documented prior travel experience on resume
