Job Title: Director of Nursing
Location: Rio Rancho, NM
Pay Rate: $56.00 – $61.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Nursing to lead and oversee nursing operations in our healthcare facility located in Rio Rancho, NM. Key Responsibilities:
Provide strategic and operational leadership for the nursing department
Ensure compliance with state and federal healthcare regulations
Oversee staff recruitment, training, development, and performance evaluations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve quality of care and patient outcomes
Develop and manage nursing budgets, policies, and procedures
Monitor and uphold standards of nursing practice
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of New Mexico
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master’s preferred
Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience, including 2+ years in a leadership or management role
Proven knowledge of healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and clinical best practices
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
