Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team and provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients in emergency and non-emergency situations. The EMT will be responsible for assessing patients, delivering appropriate medical treatment, and safely transporting them according to established protocols and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Examine, evaluate, and monitor patients to determine necessary medical care.
  • Administer basic emergency care using appropriate techniques, procedures, and equipment.
  • Provide safe and timely patient transport in accordance with facility policies and state laws.
  • Operate and drive ambulances and emergency vehicles following all safety and operational guidelines.
  • Document patient condition, treatment rendered, and all relevant interactions accurately and promptly.
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and ensure care is delivered with respect to patients’ rights and dignity.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and well-stocked environment, ensuring readiness of equipment and supplies.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and emergency personnel to ensure continuity of care.
  • Comply with all facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Current and valid EMT certification/license as per state and local requirements.
  • CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (if position requires ambulance operation).
  • Ability to remain calm and focused under pressure in high-stress situations.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Physically capable of lifting and transporting patients.
