Job Title: Registered Nurse – Behavioral Health (Overnight Shift)

Duration: 13 Weeks contract (Local or Travel Accepted)

Location:  Bronx, NY

Work Location:- Overnight (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)(3*12)

Requirement: RN license, CPEP exp required

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care to individuals with psychiatric or behavioral health conditions, ensuring safety and emotional support.
• Perform routine assessments, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and document patient progress accurately.
• De-escalate behavioral incidents and provide crisis intervention as needed.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Support patients in therapeutic activities and ensure compliance with unit protocols.
• Participate in treatment team meetings and contribute to the care planning process.
• Maintain a safe and structured unit environment by monitoring patient behavior and enforcing facility policies.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of New York (or compact license accepted for travelers).
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in psychiatric or behavioral health nursing.
• BLS Certification required; CPI certification preferred or must be obtained upon hire.
• Strong interpersonal, crisis management, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities during overnight shifts.
