Position Title: Ultrasound Technologist – General Imaging

Pay Rate:

• Traveler: $68/hr
• Local: $59.20/hr

Job Summary:

We are currently hiring a General Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week contract opportunity at a respected healthcare facility in New York. The selected candidate will perform a range of diagnostic sonographic procedures, including abdominal, small parts, and limited vascular studies, supporting both inpatient and outpatient services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general ultrasound imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols
• Conduct exams involving the abdomen, small parts, and limited vascular structures
• Optimize image quality and ensure accurate documentation of findings
• Communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare team members
• Maintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe, and compliant work environment

Requirements:

• ARDMS certification in General/Abdomen (AB) required
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in general diagnostic ultrasound
• Strong scanning skills with the ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images
• Effective communication and documentation abilities
• Hospital experience preferred
