Job Title: Sleep Technologist
Location: Oneonta, NY
Pay Rate: $57/hour

We are currently seeking a knowledgeable and compassionate Sleep Technologist (Sleep Tech) to join our growing team in Oneonta, NY. The ideal candidate will have experience conducting sleep studies, analyzing sleep patterns, and working with patients who suffer from sleep disorders. Conduct overnight sleep studies, including polysomnograms, CPAP/BiPAP titrations, and MSLT/MWT tests
Monitor, record, and interpret physiological data during sleep, including EEG, EOG, EMG, ECG, respiratory effort, and oxygen saturation
Apply and adjust monitoring devices and equipment to ensure accurate data collection
Recognize and respond appropriately to critical situations and events
Score and analyze sleep studies according to AASM guidelines
Educate patients about sleep study procedures and use of CPAP equipment
Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) or equivalent certification required
Minimum 1 year of sleep lab experience preferred
Current BLS certification required
Strong knowledge of sleep disorders and diagnostic testing procedures
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
