Job Title: Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse
Location: Delhi, NY, Oneonta, NY & Cooperstown, NY
Pay Range: $60 – $64/hour
We are actively hiring experienced and compassionate Med Surg Telemetry Registered Nurses across Delhi, NY, Oneonta, NY & Cooperstown, NY. This role is ideal for RNs who thrive in a dynamic acute care environment, caring for patients requiring continuous telemetry monitoring and medical-surgical interventions.
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on a medical-surgical telemetry unit.
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to telemetry alarms and changes in patient condition.
Perform patient assessments and collaborate on individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and protocols.
Provide support and education to patients and families regarding health status and care plans.
Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care transitions.
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
1–2 years of Med Surg or Telemetry nursing experience preferred
Current BLS certification required
ACLS certification strongly preferred or willingness to obtain
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
Strong organizational and critical thinking skills
Ability to work independently during night shifts while collaborating with the care team
