Job Title: Registered Nurse – Cardiac Cath Lab
Location: New York, NY 10016
Shift: 9:00 AM – 9:30 PM
Schedule: 3 days/week (11.5 hours/day), 34.5 hours/week
Rotating Weekends & Holidays Required
Job Description: A healthcare facility in New York is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join its Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory (Cath Lab) team. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in critical care and interventional cardiology nursing, and thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide patient care and monitoring before, during, and after cardiac catheterization procedures
Administer and monitor conscious sedation
Perform IV insertions and phlebotomy
Collaborate with physicians and the interventional cardiology team
Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols
Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
Required Qualifications:
Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verification required)
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS Certification
Minimum 2 years of Critical Care experience
Demonstrated proficiency in IV insertion and phlebotomy
Experience administering conscious sedation
Prior experience in an Acute Care and Cardiac Cath Lab setting

Candidates must be able to commit to the posted schedule, including rotating weekends and holidays
Position requires flexibility and the ability to work independently in a high-acuity environment
