Job Title: ER Registered Nurse (RN)
Location: Gastonia, NC
Assignment Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Nights – 12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
A dynamic and experienced Emergency Room RN is needed for a high-volume, fast-paced emergency department. This is a 13-week travel assignment ideal for RNs who thrive in a demanding, high-acuity ER setting and are able to immediately adapt and contribute.
Provide direct nursing care to patients in a busy ER environment
Rapidly assess, triage, and respond to emergency situations
Collaborate with physicians, support staff, and other healthcare professionals
Administer medications and perform life-saving interventions as necessary
Maintain accurate, timely documentation
Deliver compassionate care while managing multiple patients and critical cases
Active RN license (state or compact)
Minimum 2 years recent ER experience in a large, fast-paced emergency department – required
Strong clinical skills and the ability to "hit the ground running"
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications preferred
Strong critical thinking, time management, and communication skills
Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
