Position Overview:

A leading healthcare facility in New York, NY is seeking a skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a commitment to patient care, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset. Education Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology

Certifications Required:

  • ARRT Certification

  • Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License

  • Registration Certificate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish rapport with patients and ensure understanding of procedures to reduce anxiety and encourage cooperation

  • Prepare and position patients for radiological procedures, ensuring proper equipment settings and usage of immobilization devices

  • Minimize radiation exposure through protective practices and adherence to safety protocols

  • Maintain high standards in the production and quality of radiographic images

  • Document patient interactions and procedures in medical and departmental records, including verification of completed exams

  • Ensure optimal equipment performance through regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and inventory management

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with established protocols

  • Stay current with professional standards by fulfilling continuing education requirements, participating in training workshops, and engaging in professional development opportunities
