Pay Rate: $61–$63/hour on W2 (commensurate with experience)
A leading healthcare facility in New York, NY is seeking a skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a commitment to patient care, and a collaborative team-oriented mindset. Associate’s Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school
Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
ARRT Certification
Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License
Registration Certificate
Establish rapport with patients and ensure understanding of procedures to reduce anxiety and encourage cooperation
Prepare and position patients for radiological procedures, ensuring proper equipment settings and usage of immobilization devices
Minimize radiation exposure through protective practices and adherence to safety protocols
Maintain high standards in the production and quality of radiographic images
Document patient interactions and procedures in medical and departmental records, including verification of completed exams
Ensure optimal equipment performance through regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and inventory management
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with established protocols
Stay current with professional standards by fulfilling continuing education requirements, participating in training workshops, and engaging in professional development opportunities
Detail-oriented and able to work independently
