Radiologic Technologist – Ultrasound Division

Compensation: $62 – $65 per hour
A well-established healthcare provider in Massachusetts is seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiologic Technologist to join its Ultrasound Division. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality radiographic imaging services utilizing ionizing radiation, with a strong emphasis on patient care, safety, and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate radiographic equipment and ensure proper patient positioning based on procedural protocols.
Select and apply appropriate ultrasound transducers aligned with clinical requirements.
Analyze patient history and clinical data to optimize imaging quality and diagnostic value.
Provide clear explanations of procedures and respond to patient questions and concerns in a professional manner.
Ensure patient safety, dignity, and confidentiality at all times.
Assist physicians with specialized procedures, including image-guided needle biopsies.
Review imaging results to verify diagnostic accuracy and clarity.
Accurately document and label all imaging procedures.
Monitor and maintain imaging equipment, coordinating repairs and maintenance as needed.
Support the education and training of staff and students in clinical settings.
Adhere to all safety, sanitation, and infection control protocols.
Stay current with industry best practices through continuing education and professional development.
Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental goals.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (JRCERT).
ARRT certification or eligibility (must be obtained within one year of hire).
Valid Massachusetts Radiologic Technologist License.
BLS certification (required within three months of hire).
Strong command of English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
