OB High Risk Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Brooklyn, NY

Pay Rate: $75 – $77 per hour (based on experience)

A respected healthcare facility in Brooklyn, NY is actively seeking an experienced and compassionate OB High Risk Ultrasound Technologist to join its Inpatient Obstetrics team. This role is ideal for a certified sonographer with specialized training in high-risk obstetric imaging who is committed to providing exceptional maternal-fetal care.
Perform a full range of high-risk obstetric ultrasound procedures, including:
First trimester ultrasounds
Nuchal translucency screening
Dating sonograms
Fetal anatomy surveys
Biophysical profiles
Doppler flow studies
Placental evaluations
Provide ultrasound guidance for prenatal procedures such as chorionic villus sampling (CVS) and amniocentesis
Review relevant patient history and clinical information prior to procedures
Clearly explain imaging procedures to patients and ensure their comfort throughout
Maintain cleanliness and functionality of ultrasound equipment in compliance with hygiene and safety standards
Collaborate closely with physicians to ensure diagnostic accuracy and high-quality patient care
Required:
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in high-risk obstetric ultrasound
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) credential through ARDMS
Preferred:
BLS Certification
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Experience in an acute care or hospital-based setting
