Schedule: Full-time | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM | 40 hours/week | 5 days/week
Note: One Saturday per month required
Pay Range: $40 – $45/hour


Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Dietitian to join our healthcare team in Brooklyn, NY. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive nutrition assessments, develop individualized care plans, and offer patient education tailored to a variety of clinical needs. This role plays a key part in promoting optimal patient health and supporting recovery through evidence-based dietary practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform timely and accurate nutrition screenings and assessments

  • Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans based on patients' medical conditions and preferences

  • Provide follow-up care and evaluate the effectiveness of dietary interventions

  • Conduct patient and family interviews to collect food histories and assess nutritional habits

  • Interpret lab values and other clinical data for use in nutritional planning

  • Educate patients on food-drug interactions and other relevant nutrition topics

  • Accurately document dietary instructions and patient understanding in the medical record

  • Adjust menus according to patients' clinical needs and preferences

  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing, and other healthcare staff to support coordinated care


Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience required; 2 years preferred

  • Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics, Foods and Nutrition, or a related field from an accredited institution

Licensure/Certification (Required):

  • New York State Certification as a Dietitian-Nutritionist (issued by NYSED)

  • Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AHA BLS Certification

  • Master’s Degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field
