Job Title: Endoscopy Technician

Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Endoscopy Technician to support physicians during diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, with an emphasis on advanced procedures such as ERCP, EUS, POEM, and Bronchoscopy. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced procedural environment.
Assist physicians side-by-side during standard and advanced endoscopic procedures.
Prepare and set up rooms and equipment, ensuring all instruments are in working order.
Confirm patient identification and proper positioning for procedures.
Maintain a sterile field and follow infection control protocols.
Clean and restock procedure rooms between cases.
Collect, label, and transport specimens to the laboratory.
Troubleshoot and maintain endoscopy equipment, including notifying Clinical Engineering and arranging loaner equipment if necessary.
Maintain compliance with hospital standards, policies, and procedures.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Endoscopy Tech.
At least 1 year of hands-on experience assisting with advanced procedures (e.g., ERCP, EUS, POEM, Bronchoscopy).
Working knowledge of Olympus endoscopy equipment.
Familiarity with ultrasound-guided endoscopy equipment and techniques.
High school diploma or equivalent.
BLS certification (active).
